I received this product complimentary to test through Influenster’s VoxBox program. It's an interesting concept. I would not suggest that you go running out the door and trying it out because it is not for everyone. I think it looks cool and different because I am into nail art, design, and what not. My friend who is just plain Jane thinks it looks too grunge-y, dark and goth-like. I am very neutral about product because I like it because it's innovative. C'mon guys it's a freaking magnetic doing the design for you! Being lazy wins! Haha! At the same time, I don't think that it's worth the rave over it. It a definitely a new market. It's like those Konad things that eventually will fade. I love trying new products so now I know who I should recommend it to like those people who are into nail arts that are open minded and like dark, punkish stuff. I have another friend who are into to Japanese/Korean style nail art and she would not take the time to do this. I have to say that it's quite confusing when you first try it. So let me help you out.
Step 1: Apply your base coat.
Step 2: Apply a thin coat of the Magnetic polish of your choice
Step 3: You could wait 10 minutes, but I wanted to make sure it was dry, dry. I watched a drama so the length is around 50 minutes. Apply a
THICK second coat like layer that crap on!
Step 4: Proceed to get the magnet as close to your wet paint as you can without touching it then you will get a similar result as the picture shown.
Step 5: (optional) Top coat.
I want to say the lasting power on this polish is mediocre. It last about 2-3 days before it starts chipping. I would wear this around the winter time most likely. I got such a dark color, but I like my summer blue (the mood, not the color). Here's some picture:
What it should look like:
How mine turned out: (don't mind the mess)
Anyhow, that's all folks!
